Finding a company
Type a company's name or symbol into the search box at the top of any page and press Go. Or use Companies → All Companies to browse every listed company A to Z.
Checking today's market
Market Overview (the first link in the menu) shows you everything about today in one place: which stocks are up, which are down, and the overall market trend.
Reading a stock's page
Click any stock to see its price chart, recent trend, who owns it, and its dividend history, all on one page.
Tracking stocks you're interested in
Create a free account, then use Watchlist to save stocks you want to keep an eye on, and Price Alerts to get notified when one hits a price you choose.
Simple words for finance terms used on this site
Index - one number that shows if the whole market is up or down (e.g. DSEX)
Dividend - money a company pays out to its owners
P/E Ratio - how expensive a stock is compared to the profit it makes
IPO - when a company first starts selling shares to the public
Rights Issue - a company offering existing owners the chance to buy more shares
Portfolio - the stocks you own
Watchlist - stocks you're watching but don't own yet
Sector / Industry - the type of business a company is (bank, textile, pharma, etc.)
Circuit Breaker - a daily limit on how much a stock's price can move
AGM / EGM - official shareholder meetings
