A, B, N and Z

DSE sorts every listed company into a category. A means it held its annual meeting and paid at least ten per cent. B means it did not pay that much. N is newly listed. Z is the warning: it failed to hold the meeting, failed to pay a declared dividend, or has stopped operating. A Z share can still be bought, and the category is telling you why you should think first.
