Where it sits in its own year

The 52-week range is the highest and lowest it has traded in a year. Near the top is not automatically expensive and near the bottom is not automatically cheap — a good business makes new highs all the way up, and a failing one makes new lows all the way down. It tells you where you are standing, not which way to walk.
